Do you require a minimum amount of people for a party? If so, can we still book a party if we have less than that?
We have an 8 guest minimum. We are happy to accommodate a smaller party, but the bill will still reflect 8 participants. We encourage parents who are just there “to observe and supervise” to jump in on the fun, so you can get the best value for your money.
Do parents or guardians count toward the total?
We use the term “party participants” to distinguish between supervising parents and partiers. We understand that a parent may want to supervise their child without running up a bill or having to bowl, etc. As long as parents/guardians are not bowling, playing arcade, watching movies or participating in our other attractions, then no, they do not count toward the total.
Will our bowling lanes be side by side?
Yes, we will comfortably put your group together so that your lanes are next to each other. All birthday parties receive one lane per four guests, e.g. 11 guests will be on two lanes, 12 will be on three.
How spacious are your private rooms?
Our private rooms can comfortably accommodate up to 20 people. For larger groups we can set your group up by the bowling lanes, or we can rent out our billiards room. Pricing on the billiards room is subject to availability and timeframe.
How much pizza will we get?
We provide enough pizza for each participant to receive two slices.
What is the cost on adtitional food?
Anything that is not included in the package can be purchased for the regular price at the concession stand.
How many slices are in a pizza?
Can I bring in outside food or drink?
The only outside food or drink we allow is a store bought birthday cake or comparable dessert for the birthday child.
Can I bring my own cake?
Yes, you can bring a store bought birthday cake for the birthday child.
Do you provide candles?
We do have "Happy Birthday" candles available for $7 and regular candles available for $2!
Do you have a lighter?
We cannot guarantee the availability of a lighter, as our busy kitchen staff occasionally needs it to serve up some delicious pizza! We recommend that you bring your own.
What is the deposit amount required to book a party?
We require a $50 non-refundable deposit for a birthday party or any event under $200; 20% for all other events.
Can I reserve bowling lanes?
Yes, however, we only reserve bowling lanes for birthday parties or groups large enough to occupy at least 4 lanes. Reservations are subject to availability based on league play and other events.
Can I reserve a lane for my family?
We only reserve bowling lanes for groups large enough to occupy at least 4 lanes. Reservations are subject to availability based on league play and other events.
Do you offer group rates?
Yes! You can contact our events manager at BastropEvents@SchulmanTheatres.com for more information on group discounts!
Do we have to rent shoes?
If you do not have them, yes. Bowling shoes do two important things. The toes are reinforced, which help protect you against a dropped bowling ball. You wouldn't want to drop that on an unprotected foot! Yee-owch! They also protect our lanes from skid marks and other nasty scratches that would diminish the otherwise well-kept quality of our lanes.
What about my 2 year old? Does he or she need shoes? He or she is too little to scratch the floor.
You'd be surprised. Even a minimal amount of force can cause a scratch, but more importantly, we don't want an accident to occur that results in an injury to your loved one, so we must insist that all members of your party have bowling shoes on.
Can we permanently purchase bowling shoes from you?
Yes! Please see our bowling manager, and he can place an order for you. We do not have any in house to purchase.
